Type of Transmission Fluid for Borg Warner Question

255 HP Mercuiser inboards (350 Chev Engines)
My Borg Warner Transmissions have Green Transmission fluid in them. I need to add some fluid. What kind of fluid is this? Where can I purchase it and What do I ask for? Can it be mixed with Dextron RED ATF Fluid and is it advise able or not?

I don’t know what the green transmission, but typically for applications where the maximum RPMs are below 3000 you can use SAE 30 weight. But as most people go above 3000 RPM you should use Dextron II or III ATF.

Almost always a mistake to mix different types of fluids.
