I am looking for two SAE#3 adapter plates to go from a Cummins 4BT engines to Borg Warner S7000 gears. Is this something you can help me with?
I am sorry, but the S7000 Borg Warner is just too old for us to get parts for.
I thought that the bolt pattern of the S7000 was similar to the older 73 series, but
when I looked at the drawings I found they were different.
The S7000 damper plates are the same as the 73 so I might be able to find a couple
of these but they would be expensive.
And I can’t find the adapter housings at all.
I also can’t find or get any parts for the S7000 transmissions. They weren’t very popular
and they weren’t made very long.
It might make better sense to switch to a new transmission (ZF Marine or Twin Disc perhaps)
than try to use the S7000.
For example a new ZF63A transmission with all the fixin’s would be around $4,500 to connect
to your Cummins 4BT.
