I am looking for a propeller, 17" dia x 12" pitch and is right hand rotation.

I can quote this prop, but the dimensions are a little unusual.

The rule of thumb is that the shaft diameter should be no more than 15 times the pitch.

So a 17”x12 prop with a one inch shaft is a bit over.

A bronze, 3 blade RH 17x12” prop is $725
A Nibral, 3 blade RH 17x12” prop is $925.

I can get these in two weeks or so with a 1 ¼” shaft and then you would use a
bushing.  Because the shaft is only an 1”, this is a little risky as you are putting
a strain on the shaft.

A better idea, and the same cost, is to order the prop blank and machine the
hole to 1” so you don’t have to use the bushing.  The downside on this is that
there is a 7-9 week leadtime on these blank props.

I can call around and see what people might have, but before I do so I want to
confirm that you really need that aggressive a prop and have such a small shaft.
