I have a 2005 signature 330 chaparral boat with the composite outdrive. the piece that attatches to the boat from the outdrives are worn out. are these replacable (I think called the transom shield)
Volvo Penta no longer supports these drives and many (almost all) of the parts are no longer available. The transom shield kit
is not available.
However, I do have a good used remanufactured transom shield available for $2,850.
Volvo Penta wants you to swap over to the DPS-B new transom and outdrive package and has a special program that saves you
about $5,000, but is still expensive at $11,000 per setup.
