I ordered the the pipe #3589415 for the "garden hose flush project" as per your web site. The part delivered has a tiny pipe connection. Is this really sufficient to supply enough water to run my Volvo penta 5.0 gi engine on?

There are only two size of T’s the 1” and the 1.25” depending on whether you have a small block or a big block.

It supplies enough water at idle to help flush out the salt.  It probably would not be enough at high speed or
under load.  If you are worried you can always watch the temperature guage and make sure that it isn’t getting
too hot.  Another way is to purchase one of those inferred temperature guns ($60 at Napa) so you can shoot
your engine.  These guns are useful to have for problem diagnosis anyway.

But you don’t need to be concerned as we have sold many of these.   The new Volvo Penta engines come
with the flushing system as a standard and it is the same parts as you have.
